As we know camping in the rain is not very nice. Makes us feel miserable, esspecially when we get wet and cold.
But searching the internet I found a couple of tips of how to stop the rain and bad weather ruining your camping experience.
1. Please buy a good quality tent. I know it sounds simple. Those will be more expensive but better material will save you money and time on trying to improve your tent from rain in the future.
2. Before your trip pitch up your tent in your own garden. You could then throw bucket of water or hose pipe over your tent to check for any leaks. You could fix any leakage then and it will save you the disapointment and you'll have more time to enjoy your trip.
3. Seam Sealer is very good. You can find it in any DIY shop (and our website for that matter). Make sure you'll seal or the seams and stichwork of your tent. That could help the rain coming in.
4. When you choose a place on any field make sure your tent is pitched up on higher level grounds so the rain water is not coming downwards and inside your tent.
5. Finnaly tarpauline sheets are quite good for two reasons. While its spread over your tent it will protect from rain, but also if the sheet is large enough it can give you a little porch, awning like, so you don't have to be stuck inside while it rains outside.
Those tips are from people who love to camp and bad weather will never stop them :-)
Happy Camping :-)
